The Hawkshead Relish Company is an artisan producer of award winning handmade chutneys, sauces and preserves. Founded in 1999, the small family business has grown to expand their range of over 120 products, and although the business started in the small village of Hawkshead, their products are now exported to over 10 countries.

Hawkshead Relish's flagship store, which was once a cafe, is now home to their full range along with a great selection of other local / award winning products.
Gifts and hampers are also available as well as a daily tasting table.

The atmospheric Grasmere Gingerbread Shop at historic Hawkshead sells freshly roasted artisan takeaway coffee, delicious Grasmere Gingerbread® and a wide selection of unique ginger-flavoured foodstuffs and gifts, mostly handmade in Cumbria. Cumbrian Ales

Cumbrian Ales is a craft brewery lying on the shores of Esthwaite Water at the southern edge of Hawkshead village in the English Lake District.

Established in 2003 our beers are all produced with care and pride using the wonderful Lake District Fell water.

Our beer range is a mixture of modern and classic. It includes the stunning Loweswater Gold, Champion Golden Ale of Britain in 2011.

We are proud of our brewery and we are proud to be supplying great beer to Cumbria (and increasingly beyond!).
