Open to members and visitors to end of September. Fees for visitors £2.00pp./per day, accompanied children £1.00, inc. bowls hire. Key for access for bowls at Hawkshead Relish, The Square, Hawkshead. Coniston Tenis Club
We have two grass tennis courts. New members and visitors welcome (nearest facility to Hawkshead). £4.00 per court-per hour, pay at Coniston Gifts. Seasonal membership £15.00. Also, all ages and ladies welcome. Play anytime. Try Wednesday-Friday 4pm to 6pm for friendly doubles games. Beautiful setting at the foot of Coniston Old Man.

Hawkshead Wind Band
Hawkshead Wind Band is an amateur music-making group. Wind instrument players of all ages (currently 9 – 55+yrs) and all abilities meet regularly to rehearse and perform. New players welcome!

The Club is limited to 100 members (there is no limit for juniors aged 12-17 inclusive) and offers substantial discounts on annual membership (Jan-Dec) and 50% off boat hire, courtesy of Esthwaite Water Trout Fishery (subject to availability).
