Many splendid Lake District walks can be enjoyed in and around Hawkshead, with an amazing choice and variety.
- Gentle strolls – with lunch or afternoon teas.
- Sculpture walks in Grizedale Forest, where all the forest activities make it an ideal spot for the family.
- The famous Tarn Hows, with one of the best views in the Lake District.
- More challenging walks over Latterbarrow and Claife Heights with their panoramic views of the distant fells.
